RoboKaffee respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we keep it safe, and the rights you have over it.

Data we collect

  • Contact form: name, company, email, phone, subject and message you submit.
  • Chat assistant: messages you send to the on-site RoboBarista chat.
  • Cookies: essential cookies for site operation; optional analytics cookies only if you opt in.
  • Kiosk orders (separate system): order, payment and account data handled by the in-kiosk POS, governed by its own notice.

How we use your data

  • To reply to your inquiry and send you a confirmation email.
  • To improve the RoboBarista assistant by reviewing unanswered questions.
  • To understand site usage in aggregate, if you opted in to analytics.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Swiss FADP) when you submit the contact form or accept optional cookies, and on the basis of legitimate interest for security and fraud prevention.

Storage and security

Data is stored in encrypted databases hosted by reputable cloud providers in the EU/Switzerland. Access is restricted to authorised RoboKaffee staff.

Your rights

  • Right of access, rectification and erasure.
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • Right to object and to data portability.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months. Chat transcripts and tickets are kept up to 12 months. Aggregate analytics are kept up to 26 months.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you on the site.
